Greetings, the team I am working in is having an issue executing the hsgetvalue command. The function is built and, submit data is pressed and, the data is not saved to the database. We also used the refresh button with the same result. The submit zero checkbox is checked within the Smart View options. Is there something that we are missing? Please advise. ThanksI'm a little confused. You're wanting to put data into the database, but you're using HSGetValue? Are you pulling data from one connection and submitting that data to another? You used the refresh button with the same result as what?
What is the issue you are having with the HSGetValue?
I am sorry, it is for the hssetvalue. The hssetvalue is well built with no errors but, not being retrieved. A lot going on here.
OK, a couple of things to check before we troubleshoot further.
Are you using a private connection? As far as I know, HSSetValue only works on private connections.
Is this a connection to Planning? HSSetValue works with Financial Management, Hyperion Enterprise, Essbase but not Planning.
Hello, thank you for your response. We are creating a private connection and, connection set to Essbase. So, not sure what other levers to pull to get the hssetvalue to work. We are also at the zero level member.
Try to retrieve that same intersection using ad-hoc analysis and make sure you can submit data. Maybe you do not have access to save data to that cell.
