          Can you post some alert log file information from Primary & Standby?

          SQL>select severity,message,timestamp,error_code from v$dataguard_status where dest_id=2;

          Thanks.

            Hello;

            Based on your older questions I found this :

            compatible='11.2.0.0.0'

            DB_UNIQUE_NAME=test'
            DB_UNIQUE_NAME=testdr'

            db_unique_name cannetdc
            DB_UNIQUE_NAME=cannetdr

            I assume you are doing a query like this on the Primary :
            SELECT
              DATABASE_ROLE,
              DB_UNIQUE_NAME,
              NAME,
              SWITCHOVER_STATUS
            FROM
              V$DATABASE;

            And that SWITCHOVER_STATUS is returning 'RESOLVABLE GAP'

            You might find an Error with something like this :
            SELECT
              STATUS,
              GAP_STATUS
            FROM
              V$ARCHIVE_DEST_STATUS
            WHERE
              DEST_ID = 2;
            In case of Error check both Alert logs for clues.

            Does this query on the Standby show MRP0 as APPLYING_LOG?
            SELECT
              PROCESS,
              STATUS,
              CLIENT_PROCESS,
              SEQUENCE#
            FROM
              V$MANAGED_STANDBY;
            Is DB_UNIQUE_NAME set correctly on both the Primary and the Standby?

            So in the Standby Spfile do you have this set?

            ( assuming this is the same server )

            DB_UNIQUE_NAME=cannetdr

            Can you confirm the Databases are in sync?

            Best Regards

            Thanks for the question. It provided me with another example for my notes.
