    PTSQRTST fails

    happy10319
      Hi ,
      on HR91, tools 8.52,

PTSQRTST fails with following message :

      Message:
SQL Error number  occurred.  Process request failed.
      Description:
A fatal SQL error occurred while processing your request.  Look up the error code in your SQL error reference, fix the problem, and try again.
      in output file generated :
      Meta SQL Testing
      --------------------------------------------------------------
      String_Concat_In_Column_Test: Completed Successfully
      String_Concat_In_Where_Test: Completed Successfully
      Substring_In_Column_Test: Completed Successfully
      Substring_In_Where_Test: Completed Successfully

      ERRORS FOUND :-(

      Error on line 214:
(SQR 3301) Program stopped by user request.

      SQR for PeopleSoft: Program Aborting.
      Any idea ?
I think before running that it should be activated or enabled some where. But Where ?
      Thank you.

          What if :
          1) you run it from OS command line ?
          2) you try an other SQR such as DDDAUDIT ?

          Nicolas.

Your log should have a couple of dozen tests listed. Do they all say "Completed Successfully"? If not, which test failed?

            Regards,
            Bob

Add *#define debugd* at the top of PTSQRTST to see the debugmessages and you will see which variable/sql causes the error.

TestFailed is actually called more than twice. The sqr references several includes (pttst*.sqc), and they use ON-ERROR=TestFailed on most of their begin-selects and begin-sqls.

                  Thanks to all.
                  Nicolas,
DDDAUDIT is in success. But I can not see PDF file in process monitore. link is deactivated. PDF is physicaly present in T:\psoft\HCM91PT852\appserv\prcs\MYDMO\log_output\SQR_DDDAUDIT_936.

It is not transfered to report node. I defined report node. Should I restart process scheduler ?

                  Regards.

You are absolutely right, sorry for the confusion.

If you redefined the report node repository, then yes, you should bounce the batch server.

                      Nicolas.

                        thank Nicolas,
I re bounced the batch server. The same problem. DDDAUD succeded and PDF generatred on log_output directory but can not be seen on process monitore.
In process monitore under the Distribution Status columne it has N/A value.

PTSQRTST (SQL Error number occurred. Process request failed. ) and XRFWIN (Crystal Runtime initialization failed ) on error.

                        Regards.

Did you set the values in Process Scheduler > Server > Distribution Tab to something like this:
                          Maximum Transfer Retries=5
                          Interval for Transfer Attempt=5
Transfer System Files to Report Repository=enable

This should enable the log transfer.

Yes, really thank you. It was that. I did :

                            Maximum Transfer Retries=5
                            Interval for Transfer Attempt=5
Transfer System Files to Report Repository=enable

And it is Ok for the links to PDF and other files. DDDAUDIT finishes in SUCCESS.

                            But :
                            XRFWIN in error :
                            PSPAL::UnhandledExceptionFilter::UnrecoverableExceptionFilter

                            Crystal Runtime initialization failed
                            And PTSQRTST in error :

can you please edit your answer and reduce your long text ?

                              thanks.

                                Check, text reduced.

Did you try adding *#define debugd* at the top of the SQR so you would have more debugmessages, which could help solve your issue.
