Lets say the BPEL process is wired with the human task, and the BPEL process is waiting for the output of the Humna task, when you fire the request for the SOA Composite, after you make the request, click on the instance, you can see that the client service would be completed, BPEL component would be Running, and also the human task would be running. if you click on the human task component, it will open a window and show the task details, who all got assigned to it and some other details. So, you can login to the worklist app with the user who got initiated the task, then you can see the that task in the Initiated Tasks. If you login to the worklist app with the user who got assigned to the task, then you can view that task in the My Tasks tab.

So by login in as either of the users, if you click on the task that should show you where the task is ? and whether it is completed or not ? do you need to submit more information ? If the task assignee asks any specific information regarding the task, then the task would appear back in the task creators work queue with state of Info requested. So until the task creator submits the information required, and also the task assignee takes any of the outcome actions; the task wont be completed.

          Hope this helps
