bounded task flows are only accessible so the default activity is rendered. You cannot directly access a page within a bounded task flow. The work around is
1. Define a router as the default activity
2. Set URL Invoke to Always
3. In the router, read from a URL request parameter telling which navigation to take
4. Based on the parameter show the view requested
This only works for task flows that have JSPX pages as only those can be directly accessed
Thanks for the response.
However what I meant to ask was how to take the user directly to the "menu" (that has a page with a taskflow) that the user is requesting thru a direct access url?
Currently whatever initial menu reference that is there on url is lost after login. (In the example instead of http://host/context-root/faces/wcnav_externalId/*workflow* it goes to http://host/context-root/faces/wcnav_externalId/*home* after login)
What I am wondering is if I need to capture the requested "menu" ( from url using getRequestURI() in doFilter method) and then redirect to that after login (or) Is there a better way to do it?
this you need to check with the WebCenter folks. In ADF Security there is an option to tell it where to navigate to after login. Try your question on the WebCenter forum here WebCenter Portal
Can you please suggest a approach to redirect a page after successful authentication.
