    Apex Application URL

    User374238
      Good evening, gentleman.

I have a question for you.

It is possible to use another URL for my application?
For instance, I have the application URL myhost:8080/apex/f?p=104,
and I want to change it to myapplication.mynet.
It's possible to configure the apex listener to make a redirect,
in a way that when I access the URL myapplication.mynet it redirects to the myhost:8080/apex/f?p=104?

Basically I want to change the URL off the application to something more easy to the end users to remember.

      Regards, Leandro Freitas.

No, APEX Listener itself just "lives" in the context you deploy it to. Whatever you want to redirect/rewrite/whatever must be done in your JEE Container serving APEX or in front of it.
The embedded JEE Container used when APEX Listener is running in the so called "Standalone Mode" does not offer such features. Of course, you can use a proxy or regular HTTP server to serve your domain and let this node do the redirect/rewrite/..., which, by the way, would be an "implementation" of [url http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1925]RFC 1925 (Truth 6a) ;)
