    Triggering The Excutetion

      Hi,
      I have two question:

      1) While exporting data from a source to a target I always execute the interface. If I insert a new data in the source ,is it possible to trigger the execution process so that new data will be exported to the target automatically?

2)Is it possible to execute the interface or package after some fixed time interval??

If yes, then please told me how is it possible???

      Thanks

Yes, have a look at the ODI Tool ODIWaitForData (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/integrate.1111/e12643/appendix_a.htm#CEGEDJEB)

Yes, You either want to set a particular schedule on your package scenario that starts (and ends) at a particular time, or use ODISleep in a package to wait for a defined period of time (you can look the package back on itself to create an infinite : Waitfordata->Process->Sleep->Waitfordata etc.etc)
just look at the ODI Tool OdiSleep (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/integrate.1111/e12643/appendix_a.htm#CEGGDGCF)
