I am facing problem in my 10g OMS (Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Release 5 Grid Control) where XML files recevied from agents are not getting cleaned-up automatically, my FS is getting full. Can somebody guide me how to clean up files from $OMS_HOME/sysman/recv folder.
One of the reasons could be the Loader can't keep up with the number of XML added to the OMS (in the /recv folder). By adding additional loader processes this could be solved, see http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B14099_19/manage.1012/b16242/sizing.htm 184.108.40.206 Loader Vital Signs
Edit <OMS HOME>/sysman/config/emoms.properties and add this line (if it does not exist):
Stop/start OMS for the new value to be effective.
You could check if the XMLs contain info on one target or a number of targets on the same server. Do they exist at all in Grid Control?
In that case some target configuration could be incorrect. Solution, remove the (those) target(s) and add them again. Or even remove all targets for the server that has the problem targets(s) and stop the agent on the server + remove the agent in Grid Control.
Start the agent on the server again and rediscover the targets ($agent_home/bin/agentca -d)
