after some time the cpu usage is going upto 1gb.

Just how did you conclude its a memory leak?

And after some time the cpu usage is going upto 1gb. does not sound right. Are you saying CPU goes 100%? But then how did you link the CPU Utilization to EPG?

For EPG the RDBMS version is more relevant. Which RDBMS version/edition are you on?

Chances are the increase in memory use is caused by some other process or it is increasing and becoming steady when users start using Apex.

    Hi Prabodh,

    Thanks for your concerning,

And after some time the cpu usage is going upto 1gb. does not sound right. Are you saying CPU goes 100%? But then how did you link the CPU Utilization to EPG?

cpu usage is showing normally and PF Usage is increasing by 2 MB for every page refresh(load).

Chances are the increase in memory use is caused by some other process or it is increasing and becoming steady when users start using Apex

not for another process, it is happening for Apex only means when user login to develop instance or anything related to Apex.

sorry, if mentioned any confusing words.

    regards
    Chandran

I think you are getting unduly concerned with memory usage.

Every time a user connects to Apex and does some actions some memory gets consumed for internal use. It gets released automatically in time when the system determines the memory can be freed.

Memory leaks are situations where the memory is almost never reclaimed leading to increasingly higher amounts being consumed /locked , finally leading to a system hang or crash.
