Oracle PIM and Configurator Integration when both are on different database

    934751
We are looking for a way of integrating the Oracle PIM and Oracle Configurator (CZ) when both of these are installed on different Database.

We have a out-of-box integration when both Oracle PIM and Oracle Configurator (CZ)/Oracle Ebiz are on same database, But when all of these have seperate databases then how do we need to achieve the integration between these schemas.

Do oracle provide any standard way of doing this other them PIP as this would be most used scenario in the varied areas.

          Hello,

Oracle Configurator (CZ) can be associated with different Database (known as server) as the source for Inventory and Bill of Material (BOM).
Only need is to define the (remote) server, within Configurator, the provision to define new server is available in Configurator Administrator resp. You would need connection details and 'apps' password to define & enable the access of the source server in the CZ instance.

The standard Bill import program is capable of importing from remote server, no additional code.

Otherwise, you may use Generic Import process of importing Inventory & Structure from a non-Oracle system, by pushing the information in the Interface tables.

Please elaborate your requirement, if you are looking for something beyond, and I have missed a part of it.

          Thank you,
