For replacing the hostname of the reference in a composite, you can do in the reference section...
as far as replacing appropriate values in the last sextion of the config plan, you should enclose that searchreplace tag with the property name...
Configuration plan in SOA 11g, help needed.
config plan issue
see my last post above....
Hope this helps
Thanx, I burned through all of these yesterday. So, given:
<wsdl:port name="Request_Response_pt" binding="tns:Request_Response_pttBinding">
how would you wrap these search/replace tags with properties:
this is such an easy concept, I just can't understand how it can be so hard. Do you know if there is a dtd for the config plan that I could read?
I'd appreciate any help, thanx.
I don't think so the issue is with the config plan.
It seems the the Oracle SOA Suite version you are using might not be supporting complex type output.
try changing the output type to simple string instead of complex type, this may resolve the issue.
I also faced the same issue ,it worked after changing the output to string type.
OK, first, thanxs everyone. Second, the issue remains. I tried to use searchReplace to replace other strings in .wsdl files in the wsdlAndSchema elements but it simply does not work. And yes, I've told deploy to use the config plan (even purposely created errors in the config plan to ensure that the process failed). In the end, I simply used the endpointUri input property to set the target URL (which is what I think they want you to do anyway) which means that deployment will be just that much more difficult.
I have to say - this product is far more complicated than it has to be.
So anyway, until next time - thanks again.
- There seems to be a bug lying in searchReplace for http:address location attribute within service of wsdl bindings. I am not sure why you are trying to use concrete wsdls in your projects.
- Note that searchReplace feature is not intended/designed to replace anything and everything within xsd/wsdls/composite.xml. Specific attributes(like location etc) support searchReplace feature.
