I would imagine with its generic support for many database platforms that PeopleTools 8.52 and the 9.1 products probably wouldn't have a problem with the new Microsoft SQL Server 2012. But does anyone know when it will be officially declared as compatible?
I guess this MSSQL version was published later than the certification doc for PT 8.52.
IMHO, as long as the SNAC odbc driver is compatible with the PT 8.52 or the SNAC version work with PT8.52 can compatible with SQL 2012, and the addobj.sql can works fine, it should be supported. For safety, it would be some time to wait till Oracle declare the support.
Being somewhat of a newbie to peoplesoft (not SQL Server), what is Oracles stance on Peoplesoft support from the aspect of if you are on a version of SQL Server that they havent certified yet, do they just deny support on everything?
In looking over SQL Server 2012 it has some benefits and i don't believe for this application it will behave any differently than earlier versions from SQL Server 2005 onwards. And so the most likely support would be for the application itself.
