    Date Format Problem

    934988
      Hi All,

      I am using Jdeveloper - 11.1.1.4.0
      JHeadstart - 11.1.1.3.35

      I want to send date in dd-MMM-yyyy format to next page.
      when I am entering date in form item(display type - date field and it is not database depended item) it is entering in right format eg - *03-May-2012* but sending it to next page as eg - Fri May 03 00:00:00 IST 2012 this format.
      I had already set datepattern as dd-MMM-yyyy in my ApplicationResources_en.properties file.

      Don't know where it is going wrong.

      For reference please find the sample code :

      For Form Item:
      <af:inputDate id="xxyyzz"
      value='#{pageFlowScope.xyz.reportParams["P_PER"]}'
      label="#{nls['PER']}"
      required="false"
      shortDesc="#{nls['PERHINT']}"
      autoSubmit="true">
      <af:convertDateTime pattern="#{nls.datepattern}"/>
      </af:inputDate>

      For ApplicationResources_en.properties:
      datepattern=dd-MMM-yyyy
      datetimepattern=dd-MMM-yyyy HH:mm

      For common_items.vm
      #macro (DATE_CONVERTER)
      <af:convertDateTime pattern="#{nls.datepattern}"/>
      #end

      For formDateField.vm
      <af:inputDate #ITEM_ID_IN_FORM() #ITEM_VALUE_IN_FORM() #ITEM_PROMPT_IN_FORM()
      #ITEM_PARTIAL_TRIGGERS() #ITEM_REQUIRED_IN_FORM()
      #ITEM_READ_ONLY_IN_FORM() #ITEM_RENDERED_IN_FORM() #ITEM_SIMPLE()
      #ITEM_DISABLED_IN_FORM() #ITEM_HINT() #ITEM_HELP() #ITEM_ADDITIONAL_PROPERTIES() #DEPENDS_ON_ITEM_PROPS_FORM()>
      #DATE_CONVERTER()
      #ITEM_CONTEXT_FACET()
      </af:inputDate>

      Thanks in advance
