The default settings in ttendaemon.options should also include the '-verbose' directive (near the top of the file). This directive is important as otherwise the amount of information logged is considerably reduced and this can make problem diagnosis difficult in the event of any issue.
The ttDaemonLog utility mainly just displays the contents of the daemon log based on various on various filter conditions that you provide. it does not change what actually gets logged. The exceptions to this statement are the -setquiet and -setverbose which can be used to temporarily change between verbose and non-verbose logging. The log level will revert to what is defined in ttendaemon.options the next time the main daemon is restarted.
Thanks for the update.
I just verified my ttendaemon.options file.
Following is the full content.
# Commented values are default values
Here -verbose directive is present. Does this suffice my requirement, or do I have to place it on top portion of the file to make it effect?
