HRMS 8.9 MP1 to 9.1 --- TAX Update

Team,

I am doing Application upgrade from HRMS 8.9 MP1 to 9.1 and PT Upgrade from 8.49.11 to 8.52.02 on SQL SERVER 2008.

My question is :-


Oracle recommends that you run your upgrade using your Copy of Production at the same Tax Update level as the HRMS New Release Demo database (from page 3 of the upgrade document) .

In our env, we are on different tax levels. What’s the impact of this? and, How would we overcome it.

How would i check whether my DB is UNICODE or NON-UNICODE.
and what extra precautions we need to take care before upgrade.

Ya got it.
Just changed the 'Current format' to Arabic(Saudi Arabia) in 'Regional and Language Options' in "Control Panel" .
Now everything works good.
