        Are you talking about increasing the width of the scroll-able region in the report?

        Can you post the Jari's example app link if you can? because I cannot access the above blog

          Demo: Your browser window should have been maximized upon entering this page...

          Directions

          Simply insert the below anywhere inside the <head> section of your page:
          I can not find this "<head>" section on my page :( can you tell me where is it located? there are lots of section names on the page that u get crazy looking for them.

                  If you want to increase the scroll-able region width in the report then amend the width attribute accordingly in your code
                  $("#report_REGION_STATIC_ID").htmldbHscroll({
                       width : 800,
                       columns : 2
                  });

                    where do I put this one?
                    $("#report_REGION_STATIC_ID").htmldbHscroll({
                         width : 800,
                         columns : 2
                    });

                      Also you give me this link as another alternative solution > http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex8/automax.htm

                      Again I do not know where to place this code.

                      Kindly assist...thanks

                        Forget this as this is not for your problem, this will resize the browser window as I explained above

                          Hi VC,

                          I tried replacing width 400 with 800 in the following javacode page in "page region"
                          /*     htmldbHscroll 0.0.1 - jQuery Plugin for Oracle Application Express classic report

                          ;(function($){$.fn.htmldbHscroll=function(opt){
                           opt=$.extend({
                            width:400,
                            columns:1,
                            report:"table:first",
                            parent:"td:first",
                            dummyHeight:9
                           },opt);
                           return this.each(function(i){
                            var tbl1=$(this).find(opt.report);
                            var t=tbl1.parent(opt.parent).css({"vertical-align":"top","right":"0"});
                            var r1=tbl1.find("tr");
                            tbl1.find("th,td").css({"white-space":"nowrap"});
                            var tbl2=tbl1.clone();
                            var r2=tbl2.find("tr");
                            t.after($("<td/>",{"css":{"vertical-align":"top","left":"0"}}).append(tbl2));
                            r1.each(function(j){
                             t=r2.eq(j);
                             $(this).children(":gt("+(opt.columns-1)+")").remove();
                             t.children(":lt("+opt.columns+")").remove();
                             if($(this).outerHeight()>t.outerHeight()){
                              t.height($(this).outerHeight());
                              $(this).height($(this).outerHeight())
                             }else{
                              $(this).height(t.outerHeight());
                              t.height(t.outerHeight())
                             }
                            });
                            tbl2.wrap($("<div/>",{"css":{"vertical-align":"top","left":"0","overflow-x":"scroll","width":opt.width,"border-right":"1px solid #AAA"}}));
                            t=tbl1.find("tr:last").clone();
                            t.css({"height":"auto"}).children().text("\u00A0").css({"height":"auto","font-size":opt.dummyHeight});
                            tbl1.append(t).wrap($("<div/>",{"css":{"vertical-align":"top","right":"0"}}))
                           })
                          }})(jQuery);
                          But It did not expand the width of the diplay.

                          Can insert this code here?
                          $("#report_REGION_STATIC_ID").htmldbHscroll({
                               width : 800,
                               columns : 2
                          });

                              Here it is can you play with this one? I would like to see the length and width or the height of the page maximize fit on the window.

                                In the above code report_REGION_STATIC_ID should be replaced by the actual region static id of your report region (you can see that when you edit the region)

                                Other thing is the actual cod eis already there in a dynamic action on the page and you should changed the width attribute value there, Now I have changed the value to 700 and it works fine.

                                Regarding the height: the height is controlled by report rows and currently you have got only 7 rows and did not need extra height.

                                  But I tried it on this page which has more than 10 rows but still it won't change :(

                                    I didn't see this url before and was looking to other one which has got only horizantal scroll

                                    Here on this page dynamic action you need to pass the options for width and height like this:
                                      $("#report_VH_SCROLL_EMP").htmldbDscroll({freezeColumns:2,width:700,height:420});
