Tried that too, but still the same message, the record got inserted when I used the below where session_id=nvl($PARAM$session_id, userenv('sessionid')) what I thought was if we can just pass null value to the parameter and set the session_id based on userenv('sessionid')), but it was not working?
Upl Application Short Name Integrator User Name SQL WHERE clause 1st Parameter Name 1st Parameter Type 1st Parameter Prompt
XXCUSAPP XXTEST where session_id= nvl($PARAM$.session_id, session_id) session_id Number Session ID
I tried where session_id= nvl($PARAM$.session_id, userenv('session_id')) also others that we discussed.
I have designed a custom Web ADI such that, everytime I want to export I am inserting the data from table A to table B on which the view is based, here I am having the session ID, then I will export the data based on this temp table, so the data is always present.
1) Insert data into B table (will have session_id) from table A
2) View is based on B table
3) export web adi for the view
so you actually do not need fnd_session_id but a spoecific session id whose value you would no in advance.
why not create a custom value set based on some query l,ike
select distinct session_id from table A
and use this in the parameter of content
Could you also please let me know how to display description and meaning both the columns on the LOV? Like let's assume we have employee ID column and when the user clicks on the list text, it should pop out the LOV and show both Employee ID and the Employee name, but the value that needs to be enter into the employee ID field should be employee ID from the LOV?
