ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

Is your target database open? Make your you exported the correct SID in the script.

            Hi,

Try to remove the "nofilenamecheck" and perform the activity, since the directory structures are different when compared to existing target database locations (ASM disk groups)

                  Hi,

How to connected to database with RMAN?
I think you must connect to target and auxiliary database with sys/<password>@sid

                  Regards

                      hi,

I think, you must change your duplicate command a little.
                      1 clear this
                                       set diagnostic_dest='/home/oracle/oracle'
                                       set log_archive_max_processes='4'
                                       set fal_client='ADPAWS'
                                       set fal_server='PAWSDB'
                                       set standby_file_management='AUTO'
                                       set log_archive_config='dg_config=(pawsdb,adpaws)'
                                       set log_archive_dest_1='LOCATION=+DG_ARCHIVE1/ADPAWS/ARCHIVE VALID_FOR=(ALL_LOGFILES,ALL_ROLES) DB_UNIQUE_NAME=adpaws'
                                       set log_archive_dest_2='service=pawsdb ASYNC valid_for=(ONLINE_LOGFILE,PRIMARY_ROLE) db_unique_name=adpaws'
                                       set db_file_name_convert='+DG_DATA1/pawsdb/','+DG_DATA2/ADPAWS'
                                       set log_file_name_convert='+DG_REDO1/pawsdb/','+DG_DATA2/ADPAWS'
                                       set memory_target='0'
                                       set sga_max_size='25G'
                                       set sga_target='0'
I think you can add this parameter after duplication .

                      like as
                      duplicate target database
                      for standby
                      from active database
                      dorecover
                      spfile
                      set db_unique_name='adpaws'
                      set control_files='+DG_DATA2'
                       set db_file_name_convert='+DG_DATA1','+DG_DATA2'
                       set log_file_name_convert='+DG_REDO1','+DG_DATA2'
                      nofilenamecheck;
                      Regards

                              Hi,

As you have stated you can perform tnsping to primary, perhaps I still doubt it some connection issue with remote database primary from standby server.
ORA-17629: Cannot connect to the remote database server
                              ORA-17627: ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

ORA-17629: Cannot connect to the remote database server
Try to perform the same task from primary db server, it would get completed.... I doubt it still

                                  Hi,

You need to create a new password and sync it, it would work. Secondly, you about to create the duplicate db, how come you are starting the standby instance prior in time ?
Since at the end of duplicate database it will open the db for you.
