APEX Listener to listen to two databases

    944968
      Hello,

I started using APEX recently and am trying to configure the APEX Listener in standalone mode to listen to two databases simultaneously. Is it possible?

      Thank you.

One Standalone ApexListener can connect to only one database. You can run multiple ApexListeners though, one for each database.

To be precise, every APEX Listener instance, be it standalone or deployed onto a regular JEE container, may only serve a single database target. So you need to deploy one APEX Listener for each APEX instance (or other database target) you want, where each APEX Listener will either have its own port (standalone) or its own context (deployed on regular JEE).
