    Required Privileges For DbConsole

    895327
      I'm trying to login to DbConsole on Oracle 11g R2 & it seems my role / user 'CARLOS' doesn't have the proper privelleges granted so I was wondering what roles I need to grant him specifically? I did read the entire documentation and it never states specifically as someone with SYSMAN or DBA privelleges must grant to 'CARLOS'.

      http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/db/11g/r2/2day_dba/gettingstarted/gettingstarted.htm#p

      When I attempt to login to DbConsole, I get the error below:
      Error:
      The application requires more database privileges than you have currently been granted. Click on Help to get more version specific information.

          Your user must have at least SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE role or SELECT ANY DICTIONARY privilege to be able to use EM.

            Hi;

            I am using below script for create readonly user:

            CREATE USER OEM_MONITOR_USER
            IDENTIFIED BY <password>
            DEFAULT TABLESPACE USERS
            TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP
            PROFILE DEFAULT
            ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
            -- 3 Roles for OEM_MONITOR_USER
            GRANT CONNECT TO OEM_MONITOR_USER;
            GRANT RESOURCE TO OEM_MONITOR_USER;
            GRANT SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE TO OEM_MONITOR_USER;
            ALTER USER OEM_MONITOR_USER DEFAULT ROLE ALL;
            -- 1 System Privilege for OEM_MONITOR_USER
            GRANT UNLIMITED TABLESPACE TO OEM_MONITOR_USER;

            Regard
