I am unable to deploy the PIA on PT 8.52 version. Any help on this is highly appreciated.
Downloaded the Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.4) Generic and Coherence (V24338-01) from Oracle e-delivery.
(During PIA installation I receive error as the current version of weblogic is 32-bit and the required version is 64-bit,However I continued installing the PIA)

The problem is not coming from the delivered software on edelivery, but rather from the OS you are using which is not supported to be a Peoplesoft server.
The delivered software works like a charm on Windows 2008 (R2) 64bit.
Since this is the current top thread I thought I would post my result in case others are having the same issue.
The problem with the install is usually the fact that we have multiple versions of java installed.
Currently supported tools weblogic is running on jRockit, so install that, and edit the "startup.bat" script to point to that java.exe to use for this installation. You should already have jRockit installed if you are setting up WL on Tools 8.5x, 10.3.5 is the version we are on.

Saw this post and thought I would tag on to it. I am currently installing the following environment:
• FSCM 9.1
• Peopletools 8.52
• Weblogic 10.3.4
• Tuxedo 10gR3_VS2008
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008
• Windows 2008 R2 Server
Pretty much followed the install directions “by the book” finished the install and everything worked except, retrieving data within the Application. When I got to a page where data was retrieved the Application just hangs up. This would be a search page, or just a regular application page. I can enter the data when I hit enter the application just hangs (timer spins) and eventually times out. So as I tried to resolve this problem I recreated the Web and App Server several times and now I cannot bring up the Web Server due to the error discussed here. No matter what the deployment I get the same message.
The log file has almost nothing in it. I have reinstalled both WebLogic and Peopletools. The Appserver is working fine, App Designer works, however I cannot get the Web Server to come up, remember I did have it working before so maybe I deleted a file or something but with the reinstall I thought I would resolve that, but apparently not. Below is the contents of the log file. Any input would be great. Thanks.
