You can do it using XPath functions on sequences
fn:index-of() is probably what you are looking for...
Have a look at this
To use those functions in XSLT you'll probably need to set stylesheet version="2.0"
Yes,kind of same...but i need to keep all the values in coma seperated file and then compare the incomming code is present in the list.
If you want to compare the incoming value with a list, then it will be time consuming and not the best practice to run for loop to check this.1 person found this helpful
I would say, keep all those values in DVM ( Domain Value Map) then use the function dvm:lookupValue() to read the incoming value and validate with the DVM.
With this approach you can update the values without redeploying the composites, you can use Fusion composer to update or modify values.

I coud manage to refer DVM thanks,,,
Thanks all for info
Pasting you the example which i did for you.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<!-- Generated by Oracle DVM Editor version 1.0 at [16/07/12 10:14]. -->
<dvm name="Foods" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/dvm">
In your assign or xslt file you can call the dvm using below function code.
In the above example i have kept DVM locally, you can keep it either in project or in MDS, Keeping in MDS is a best practice the DVM can be refered from more than one composite.
