I have to import data into a 11g database from the export dump file of a 10g database.Possible ,you can export 10g data into 11g data by expdp-impdp or traditional exp-imp.
before importing 10g dump into 11g you need to create database in 11g by dbca.
Kindly advice if this is possible, and if yes, do I need to ru the catupgrd.sql again after import completes?no need to run catupgrade.sql as when you create database in 11g home by dbca it will be created for 11g version so no upgrade required.
Thanks for your inputs.
Database is created and has no data yet. Tablespaces are created. Now I would import the data. The export dump file is only 130M so it would complete very soon.
Once it completes and/or fails, I would let you know my experience. :-)
Any Time ...
