Lazy not working in JPA with Hibernate

I an using JPA with Hibernate.
I have an entity class, which has one to one mapping to other entity classes. I want to lazily fetch the other mapped entities.

I have used @OneToOne(mappedBy="columnName",fetch=FetchType.LAZY) in both entities. But still in console, I see all the tables joined with main table in sql generated.

What is that I am missing in configuration?

This forum is mostly for TopLink/EclipseLink questions, so for anything complex you might want to try one of those JPA providers or ask on a forum specific to your JPA provider.

Check that you are not using other setting elsewhere such as in your query that might force a fetch join to occur.

          Best Regards,
