maybe this one helps a bit :
either you make a real xquery from your xml file so you can use it in an assign or you can use the doc function to import it.
this shows how to create the url to sbresources, but i don't think you can retrieve a xml file with it
you could retrieve sbresources by use of java and jar this, but that's a lot more work compared to the other solutions (don't have the link to this code either atm)
Thanks for Reply. I use fn:doc function to read XML file in bind variable. But I have doubt whether It will affect performance or not.

things you need to look at :
xquery files aren't customizable
xquery files itself are cached, the fn:foc function will be executed every time again
so if you don't use the xml for other things, i would just registrate it as xquery file with the xml in it
or you could use the synchronous file adapter to retrieve the data from the file
