emctl start dbconsole not working

hello,

i' m trying to start " emctl start dbconsole but getting an error:


[oracle@PGH-DB ~]$ emctl start dbconsole
TZ set to Asia/Calcutta
OC4J Configuration issue. /opt/oracle/102/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_PGH-DB_paceview not found.



what configuration i should perform to overcome this

    Check if this directory exists or not, /opt/oracle/102/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_PGH-DB_paceview

    If not available means emctl was not configured at first place.
    To configure it use the below commands,

    emca config dbconsole db

    To see alll the commands for emca, just type emca help=y on the command prompt.

    i couldn,t get the hang of anything .i just want to open my isqlplus through putty on linux server.
    may you tell me necessary steps ?

    you need to recreate it :

    emca -deconfig dbcontrol db -repos drop
    emca -config dbcontrol db -repos create

    i am getting below error while running emca -config dbcontrol db -repos drop script

    Is your LD_LIBRARY_PATH set?

    Does that file exist?
