Hi, I am developing an Android application which consumes some wcf services and visualises the data to the user. I connect with the service using KSOAP2 exchanging bounded messages.
The thing is that some services return large amount of data so the only way for this to be done is via streamedRespose, and then do a lazy load of the data to the user.
My question is how can I receive and use a stream with ksoap2 from a wcf web service, and also is it possible or .net streaming to java isn't interoperable?
Well firstly , i may be developing through android but the means to cosume the wcf service are provided by Java.I'ma already using KSOAP2 as it's the only way to exchange soap messages in android. The reason I'm asking this in this forum is because it's the only way to know if .net streaming to java is interoperable.I've already asked in other forums and got no answer,so in my opinion this forum is the only way to get an exact opinion on this matter.I've read a lot of articles and stubled upon some certain that suggest that such thing cannot happen(meaning streaming from .NET service to a Java client cannot be done)
