Predefined AD connector User provisioning issue

    941383
      Hi,
I have downloaded the connector for Active directory : activedirectory-11.1.1.5.0.zip from oracle.

I followed the steps from the following guide to deploy the pre defined connector but I am getting the following error.

      Resource Name:      AD User
      Description:
      *User:              Sample Test [SAMPLETEST]*
      Status:           Rejected

      Response:     ICFINTEGRATION_EXCEPTION
      Response Description:     Unknown response received
      Notes:

*Assigned to User      :      System Administrator[XELSYSADM]*

      Error Details
Setting task status... "ICFINTEGRATION_EXCEPTION" does not correspond to a known Response Code. Using "UNKNOWN".

Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks in advance for help

      Thanks and Regards,
      Prasad Shinde

What is error you are getting in logs(<domain_home>/servers/<oim_server>/logs/<oim_server1.log> &<oim_server1_diagnostic.log>)? Have you configure connector server properly along with it's key. Make sure server is running and accessible from OIM.

          regards,

Have you started the connector server? Have you run the Organization and Group recon to validate you can even connect?

              Hi GP,
Thanks for the reply. I have just installed the connector server and not configured it. The document which i followed for connector deployment showed on the installation steps for connector server and not the configuration steps.

looking at your log. There is problem with DB connection. Can you diagnose your DB connection. Check the free memory in your system or increase the connection pool size using weblogic console. even make sure your OIM DB is running and up

Check the connector documentation again. You need to put bundles (comes as part of connector pack) in connector server and restart it. Also in OIM after AD connector installation, you have to configure IT resource for connector server. THere you have to provide connector server details like address, port, key etc. Before running connector server you set its key suing this command-> ConnectorServer.exe /setkey

                  And then run the server.
Also your log is saying error for database connection. Can you just restart your database and OIM? And then proceed with AD connector server steps.

                  regards,
                  GP

                    Hi Kevin,
No Ii didn't. It was not mentioned in the document that I referred. Can You please let me know the steps for the same?
                    Thanks for responding.

Under advanced console, go to Scheduled Jobs. Run the job 'Active Directory Organization Lookup Recon'. If your AD connection is successful then OIM will pull OUs from AD to Lookup.ActiveDirectory.OrganizationalUnits

Make sure in OIM, you have created IT resource of type 'Connector Server'. Use it for Connector Server Name parameter under AD IT resource configuration

Also check firewall setting for Connector server port.

                        Hi GP,
Thanks for your valuable inputs. I have put the bundles in connector server and restarted it.Also i created the IT Resource for Connector server with the required attributes (ip,port and key). I also checked the Database connection it was working fine. After following these steps i tried provisioning a new resource for the user but the state of it is pending. It has not failed yet. But the state has not changed overnight I guess there is some problem with it. Please help me out.

                        Regards,
                        Prasad

I tried running the following scheduled job. These were the error messages i got. I hope that could help solve the problem. I guess its not able to find the AD connector.

ok. Open the process form and see if all required field are populated. Check if Organization Name field value is provided. If not, provide all values and save the process form. It will start provisioning then.

                                Thanks,
