Can some one tell me the upgrade paths available from 184.108.40.206 to 220.127.116.11 Rac 2 node database on RHEL 5.
I would like to do inplace upgrade. (Please refer me a related documents)
If its not a good idea out-place upgrade (Please refer me a related documents).

In-place upgrade is possible, but not recommended.

Starting from 18.104.22.168, the binaries are released as a patch sets and that are full installation packages which needs to be installed on a separate ORACLE_HOME.

Before upgrading to 126.96.36.199, the recommended patches should be applied to the existing grid environment.

In order to install 184.108.40.206, you need to download the Patch 10404530 from MOS.

220.127.116.11 Patchset Location For Grid Infrastructure And RDBMS (Doc ID 1362393.1)
Once the patch 10404530 has been downloaded and extracted, start the runInstaller from the staging area and choose the third option "Upgrade Oracle Grid Infrastructure or Oracle Automatic Storage Management" and choose the separate home.
The rest of the proceess will be guieded by the OUI.
