The folder items are stored in the eul5_expressions table and so the following query will show you the visiblity of all the person_id items in the EUL.
If you re-imported the eBS business areas then the visibility would be reset to the default value.
select eo.obj_name folder_name, ex.exp_name item_name, ex.it_hidden visible from eul5_expressions ex , eul5_objs eo where ex.it_obj_id = eo.obj_id and ex.exp_type = 'CO' and ex.exp_name = 'Person Id'
We got a new test instance and noticed the following:
1. Upgraded Oracle Apps 11i instance to R12
2. Tested the discoverer reports and did not see any issue
3. Upgraded Discoverer version from 10g to 11g
4. Tested the same discoverer report and got the above error (BIB - 10310...)
So now I understand that the issue is because of discoverer upgrade. But could you please suggest me how to progress on this? I'm not sure how many such attributes' properties are affected by this.
Thanks for your help.
I had raised an SR for this issue and was discussing with them for last few weeks. Though they said that some of the properties could have been changed as part of EBS upgrade, I have not been provided with the list of such changes. When requested I was told that I can find the change by comparing eex files before and after upgrade.
As an alternative we are planning to write some scripts which picks up data from the following tables:
EUL4_US.EUL5_BAS - Business Areas
EUL4_US.eul5_objs - Folders in Business Areas
EUL4_US.eul5_ba_obj_links - Link between business areas and folders
EUL4_US.eul5_expressions - Item's under a folder
But I have a small question, what does exp_type in the expressions table denote... I was trying to google and learnt that it could be one of these :
'CI' , 'CO' , 'JP' , 'FIL' , 'PAR'
But not sure what each of them denotes? Please suggest.
