IHAC with a number of Oracle Linux 5 U6 (2.6.32-300.25.1.el5uek) virtual machines running on an OVM 2.2.2 (2.6.18-128.2.1.4.37.el5xen) server farm.

One of the systems crashed / halted overnight with the following error message in the logs: -

Until last night the OVM server farm and OL virtual machines had been quite stable.

Has anyone come across this fault before? Does it relate to the VM kernel , or the OVS kernel??

Many thanks,

    Hi Steve,

I've had the same problem on a production server I support, with almost exactly the same symptoms. Did you get any resolution to this problem?
