    Inventory Transactions Open interface

    608027
      Hi,

Is there any specific program called 'Inventory Transactions Open interface' which is supposedly an open interface to put data from mtl_transactions_interface to the base tables? If no, then how is data imported to the base tables?

One more query. Is there any way Stock Corrections can be done through this program?

      thanks!

Yes. "Process Transactions Interface" is the exact name.

You can post adjustments by 2 options:
          1. Cleaner way is to do cycle counting.
          2. undocumented way is to perform adjustments by means of miscellaneous transactions. (you may have a tough time with auditor though )

if u choose to go by 2nd option, you can insert the records in mtl_transactions_interface and get them processed by running "Process Transactions Interface".
It further launches worker programs to perform the transactions.

          Thanks,
          Hrishi

I believe the interface run will validate the stock locators and provide appropriate errors.
