I am experimenting with a SIP servlet on OCCAS connecting to a simple WebService; the web service accepts a POST, and returns an HTTP response. The SIP servlet calls the service asynchronously, providing an AsyncHandler to be notified of the response. This all works fine. When we load up the SIP servlet with many requests, we see (via tcpdump) that occasionally traffic to the WebService is spread across many connections (generally two). My question is: is it possible to control the connection pooling that we appear to be seeing? E.g. set max number of connections?
