Mpx import dublicates summary tasks

I am importing file from MSP2010 to P6 rel 8.2. First I convert mpp-file to mpx-file with Primavera MpptoMpx converter. Then I import that file to P6 using MSP mapping. Once import is done all MSP summary tasks are duplicated as normal tasks in P6 under the summary tasks. To clarify a bit more, see example below (. is indicating indent):

MSP:
Project
.*Phase1*
..Task1
.*Phase2*
..Task2

P6:
Project
.*Phase1*
..Phase1
..Task1
.*Phase2*
..Phase2
..Task1

It's strange that P6 does this, but it has as far back as I can remember. I understand that behind the scenes, summary tasks are the same as tasks to Project. But there are ways to identify that there are at a different level and could be filtered out. That being said, I don't really mind since a lot of times I need them as activities to replace their WBS parents with Activity Codes. Maybe Primavera thought they were doing us a favor by including both. But it would be nice to have an option in the Import Template to choose one, the other or both.
