RMI port change problem

Hi there!

I've changed RMI port number from 11333 to 12333, and there seems to be a problem connecting RMI and Planning. Specifically, when trying to use ODI, it says it cannot connect to Planning.

RMI is starting ok, as I can telnet 12333.

I suspect I should change some configuration file to tell Planning that RMI is now on 12333, but I could find any file with this information..

Any suggestions?

    What version are you on? In 11.1.2.X you should find a file under EPM_ORACLE_HOME/common/RMI/VersionNumber/HyperionRMI_Port.properties

    Update the port number there and then within Planning select Administration / Manage Properties / System Properties
    Add a new parameter COMMON_RMI_PORT and save.

    Restart both RMI and Planning services.

    If it's correct go ahead and mark it please -- not as important to me however if someone with status gives a proper answer it gets you in the mode of being a good forum citizen.
