    Yes you can consume web service in your OAF page. For that u need to write java class to call the webservice execute that class in page event.

    If you need more info, let me know.

    Regards,
    Vijay.

    Hi,

    I successfully called the Web Service in OAF page but the issue now I am facing is as soon as I deployed the page to apps it not calling web service.

    Same code and same page if i run on local machine it is executing web service.

    What to do regarding this ?

    Regards,
    Ajay

    Hi Ajay,

    Hope you have successfully integrated OAF and Webservice. I am also working for the same requirement where i need to call the Webservices from OAF page and need to associate with the OAF Search Page, Create Page and to assign to Some fields.

    Can you please give some detailed information(Step by step information), how you have done the same so that it will be very helpful for me to develop the same.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    some days before I solved the issue using following API
    java.net.HttpURLConnection;
    java.net.MalformedURLException;
    java.net.URL;
    java.net.URLConnection;
    The best part is that you don't require to add extra jar files in class path on your apps server. Search about it as "Consume web service in Java using java.net....." and so on.

    You will get nice examples. Let me know if you need help.. :)

    Regards,
    Ajay
