Proximity Search Text
Aug 29, 2012 10:18 AM
I need help in Proximity search in Oracle Text.
For example, below query gives all records that contains "Finance" and "Econony" within 10 words...
SELECT col1_id, col2_text
WHERE CONTAINS (col2_text, 'NEAR ((finance, economy), 10)') > 0;
I want to display 10 words before and 10 words after "finance/econony" words for each and every occurrance in all the records returned by above query.
Can you please let me know how to achieve this. I am working on Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 126.96.36.199.0.
Thanks a lot in advance.
