The http://<host>:<port>/admin/datastore?op=stats command shows the statistics of the Dgraph process for the Oracle Endeca Server. For this command, <host> refers to the hostname or IP address of the Oracle Endeca Server. <port> refers to the port on which the Oracle Endeca Server is listening. Which host and port did you specify?
sorry I should have been clear in my question. Anyways, IP address is of the server on which we have installed the Endeca server and port is 8080. Is it correct?
The default port number of the Endeca Server is 7770. So if "quickstart" is the name of your data store, then the command should be:
By the way, 8080 is the default port of the Tomcat on which Studio is running. That's why you're seeing the Studio page, not the Dgraph stats page.
Thank you very much. I got it confused with Studio port.
Hi Frank and Julia,
I was able to get the stats on the data stores running on server. Can you refer me to any guide or link which will help me understand bottlenecks by looking at these stats.
Hi,1 person found this helpful
The brief documentation on the stats page is here: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29805_01/server.230/es_admin/toc.htm#stats
The assumption for this release is that the stats page is a performance diagnostics tool customers can use when interacting with Oracle support to identify any performance problems with the Dgraph process (which itself is internal to the Endeca Server search-analytical database). If you need more help interpreting the stats page, please contact Oracle support as indicated in the documentation (preface section of the Administrator's Guide).
Hope this helps!
Thanks again Julia.
