          Check the OS permission of that directory as error suggested.

              provide more information, like oracle version (all digits), OS, steps or scripts to recover....

                Its pretty straight forward error . Did you check for the folder that does it actually exists or have the proper rights on it ?

                  My oracle version is 11.2.0.2 Os is windows

                  Steps
                  on server 1
                  ----------------------
                  I took full RMAN backup and moved all backup pieces to other server

                  server2
                  ---------------------
                  created pfile and started the db on nomount

                  I restored the the controlfile

                  RMAN>restore controlfile from "backup piece path''

                  My control file restored successfully

                  I have renamed logfiles as so that log file can create at the time of recovery.

                  SQL>alter database rename file ''Old Server Path" to "New Server path'';

                  Then i have executed script

                  run
                  {
                  set until sequence 31;
                  set newname for datafile 1 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\SYSTEM01.DBF';
                  set newname for datafile 2 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\SYSAUX01.DBF';
                  set newname for datafile 3 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\UNDOTBS01.DBF';
                  set newname for datafile 4 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\USERS01.DBF';
                  set newname for datafile 5 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\TS1.ORA';
                  set newname for datafile 6 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\TS2.ORA';
                  set newname for datafile 11 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\TS7.ORA';
                  set newname for datafile 12 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\TS8.ORA';
                  set newname for datafile 13 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\TS9.ORA';
                  set newname for datafile 14 to 'E:\ORADATA\BBCOM\TS10.ORA';
                  restore database;
                  switch datafile all;
                  recover database;
                  alter database open resetlogs;
                  }

                  and it come with error

                  my control file is still reading backup pieces from the server 1 where i created RMAN backup.it should use the backup piece on server 2

                    its just permission error. If not please check if any of file like system or sysaux is created at the speciified location while restoration.

                      Catalog your backup piece.
                      And then run your restore command

                        hi,

                        >

                        clean the CF from unavailable backupsets.
                        RMAN> crosscheck backup completed before 'sysdate';
                        RMAN> delete expired backup ;
                        if you run into problems, catalog the new backuppieces
                        RMAN> catalog start with 'e:\<somewhere>';
                        when that works, you will run into problems, while converting your redolog files.
                        so you should just define the LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT parameter in your init :)

                        br,
