Working example of MulticastChannel
Sep 5, 2012 11:55 AM
Does anyone have a working example of MulticastChannel that would run on Windows 7 64 bits?
I'd like to know why this does not work:
final NetworkInterface networkInterface = NetworkInterface.getByName("eth0");
final DatagramChannel datagramChannel = DatagramChannel.open();
final InetAddress inetAddress = InetAddress.getByName("ff02::1");
final MembershipKey membershipKey = datagramChannel.join(inetAddress, networkInterface);
Exception in thread "main" java.net.SocketException: Unrecognized Windows Sockets error: 0: no further information
I have the same question
