Nope :) As you have not had many responses then it may be worth raising a call with Oracle.
If you want encryption then I would say go down the SSL route which is supported.
Yes I did raise SR with Oracle waiting for their response.
I also raised SR to see if SERVER_ENCRYPT setting is supported in 126.96.36.199 and they said it is.
I worked with Oracle and they have created patch for both 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206 version now.
After installing patch performance seems to be normal using SERVER_ENCRYPT setting on DB2 side.
