create and drop db links

can anyone tel me how to create a file where i can store the statements like
create database link xxxx connect to apps identified by apps using'host';
when i try to save it to a file saying vi create.sql its not allowing me to save. its not allowing me to save it...im getting the error like
"createlink.sql" E212: Can't open file for writing
Press ENTER or type command to continue
can anyone tell me how to save it and when done RMAN cloning i use this to remove the source data and place the old db links.

it seems like you are facing permission issue where you are trying to save the file. Kindly check if your user is having permission to write where you are saving file? if it is not then try some other location.
