Installed Java 7 Update 7 Via GPO.  Now we have 2 versions of Java 7.

To patch the recent severe security vulnerability, we set Java 7 Update 7 to be installed from the .msi file via a software installation GPO on our Windows domain.
Java 7 update 7 installs successfully, but now the computers have both Java 7 update 6 and Java 7 update 7 installed at the same time.
Since Java 7 update 6 is still there, I assume the security risk has not be remedied.
I knew Java installations didn't replace Java 6 installations, but I thought installing an updated version of the same Java version was supposed to replace previous versions of that Java level.

Is there a fix for this?
