Minimum permissions to monitor remote servers?

957621Sep 17 2012
I need to monitor several Solaris servers under Ops Center, in order to discover (and monitor) the remote servers, I specified the root passwords of each servers to connect to them. For security reasons I don't want to use the root credentials, would it be possible to specify another remote user (with less privileges)? I don't want to use public/private keys either :)

Thanks in advance

I wish there was a date for "Last updated" on the one site.

It looks like this is (now) a Known Issue (3rd bullet point)

https://oracle.github.io/oracle-db-mle/release_notes/

That "Last updated" would have told me if you (re)discovered this bug or not.  (were you the one that caused them to add that bullet point or did the MLE team already know about it?)
