Hi all ,
Can anyone help me on this ,
In my source a column in a table having LONG RAW() datatype and in my target table the column which we mapped having BLOB() datatype , now when i execute i am getting the below error
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got BLOB
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got LONG BINARY
i alsotried like mapped to_lob(source column) to target column , but it didn't worked .
You might try the To_BLOB(Source Column) function instead. The TO_LOB() function cannot be used within PL/SQL package, and maybe the ODI-generated code is treated as a pkg.
Instead please try the TO_BLOB or TO_CLOB functions.
What Phil_ said is that you should try with "IKM Oracle Incremental Update PL/SQL" instead of the standard "IKM Oracle Incremental Update" or the "IKM Oracle Incremental Update MERGE".
Did you try the PL/SQL one ?
It should support LOBs.
