    SELinux and Weblogic

Does there exist anywhere information to build a Weblogic server on Security Enhanced Linux?

          Check this steps.

Oracle Fusion Middleware products are supported on SELinux(Security Enhanced Linux) but with permissive mode.

To setup SELinux into permissive mode, please run the following command.

          # setenforce 0 (will require privileged access)

          # setenforce 0 only changes the mode of SELINUX and does not disables it.

For disabling we need to change the file config under “/etc/selinux”:

          # This file controls the state of SELinux on the system.

          # SELINUX= can take one of these three values:

          # enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced.

          # permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing.

          # disabled - SELinux is fully disabled.

          # SELINUXTYPE= type of policy in use. Possible values are:

          # targeted - Only targeted network daemons are protected.

          # strict - Full SELinux protection.

Make SELINUX=enforcing or permissive. or diabled to disable the SELinux.
