    Oracle EBS R12 Functional Exam

      Dear All

I have two questions about the Oracle EBS R12 Exam
1.) I found there are two different sets of exam for R12 - Certified Implementation Specialist and Certified Expert Consultant.
Any difference between them? Which set is more in-depth and valuable?

2.) I have already attended the training (Oracle EBS R12 E-Business Essentials) in Oracle.
Does it mean I can take all the exams (1Z0-204, AP, AR, INV, OM, Purchasing) by merely attending only one training?

Oracle EBS R12 Financials Certified Expert Consultant, Receivables

The OCE's are more in depth than the OCS' and require training to meet the certification.

The OCS's are more targeted at candidates belonging to OPN partners and typically have less depth.

You can take any of these exams whenever you like in whatever order you like (unless the rules change, exams retire ... etc ... etc).

Providing your training was on this list: http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=246#2
... and was from Oracle unversitty or done under appropriate authoratisation of Oracle to appropriate Partner
... Then I seem to recall Brandye replying in an earlier post in this area one training can be used multiple times against different courses in this area provided the course is in the prerequisites list. [*].

( It is too hard for me to search for this post .... it might be more helpful if an alternative pre-req on the certifinder was an existing relevant OCE). So unfortantantely this is only my view and not backed by a more authorative reference.

[*] This does not apply for certain unrelated certifications: eg check rules for DBA OCM not being able using a DBA OCP training in some circumstances.

Just to confirm, once you have completed one of the required courses for an EBS R12 certification, you can go on to additional EBS R12 certifications without having to complete additional training.
