    Licensing Question Revisited

    Tom N
I am at a customer running Standard Edition One (Oracle Database 11g Release - 64bit Production).

They would like to install the Oracle Scheduler Agent on a remote non-database host and use it to run shell scripts.

This posting (Re: OracleJobScheduler remote database indicates that special licensing is required, but a review of the September 26th 2012 Oracle Technology Global Price List does not show the product referenced in the forum post. That said, I do see "System Monitoring Plug-in for Non Oracle Middleware"...which doesn't sound exactly right.

Does anyone know if special licensing is still required to install the Oracle Scheduler Agent on remote non-database hosts?

      Thank You!
