Console.WriteLine("Connected to TimesTesn" + connection.ServerVersion);
command.CommandText = "Select to_char(TT_sysdate, 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.FF')from dual";
Object oStartTime = command.ExecuteScalar();
StartTime = DateTime.Parse(oStartTime.ToString());
Console.WriteLine(StartTime.ToString("MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss.fff tt"));
Console.WriteLine("Connected to TimesTesn" + connection.ServerVersion);

    Are you using the same version of ODP.NET on both Windows environments? Only ODP.NET 11.2.0.2.0 and above support connecting to TimesTen. Can you verify the version of ODP.NET installed on Windows 7 server.

    Yes, i am using the same version 11.2.2.2.0 in both Win 2003 and in Win 7.
    in Regedit i am seeing
    in Win 7
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\2.112.1.0
    in Win 2003
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\2.112.1.0
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\2.112.2.0
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\4.112.2.0

    Thanks!

    I believe the entries from regedit confirm that you have ODP.NET 11.2.1 on Windows 7 but ODP.NET 11.2.2 on Windows 2008. TimesTen support was introduced in 11.2.2.2.0 and later versions of ODP.NET, please can you upgrade to 11.2.2 on Windows 7 and try again.

    I have updated my ODP and now i am able to see

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\2.112.1.0
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\2.112.2.0
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ODP.NET\4.112.2.0

    in my Windows 7
    where as i am getting the same error.
    ORA-29036: This feature is not supported

    I found that

    Original

    command.CommandText = "Select to_char(TT_sysdate, 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.FF')from dual";
    Object oStartTime = command.ExecuteScalar();
    StartTime = DateTime.Parse(oStartTime.ToString());
    Console.WriteLine(StartTime.ToString("MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss.fff tt"));

    Modified

    StartTime = DateTime.Now;
    Console.WriteLine(StartTime.ToString("MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss.fff tt"));

    i am able to get the time ,but why it not executing ExecuteScalar(); in Windows 7.
    ExecuteReader() is also not working in Windows 7.

    Thanks!

    Check your PATH to make sure you are picking up the correct ODP and OCI DLLs. You need to be using the OCI DLLs from the 11.2.2 instantclient that gets installed along with TimesTen. It may be that you are picking up a different version of the OCI library.
