You don't answer my questions.
So why should I answer your questions?

why do you waste time here when you NEVER get your questions answered?
What do you really mean by current archive? You can have current redo, but by definition archived is past. Please explain in more detail how you arrived in your current situation and what exactly you want to accomplish. Did something blow up? Are you making a test database? Are you on a particular version/patch level? Are scripts running to make the backup?
I have to move the DB from one volume (I have oractrl, oradata, oraredo and oraarch volumes) to another volume, but the DB is really big... so I thought to move the snapshot backup (oractrl, oradata) of yesterday night and then to shutdown the DB and copy the archive logs (saved after the snapshot) into a new volume (oraarch).
Then I want to apply all archives to start up DB updated at last transaction (of course during the start up I must create the redo log)
